College Creative Writing
Answer these two questions with 300-400 words each.
– No essay structure is required for it. It can be an essay, a long paragraph, or multiple
paragraphs.
– No use of sources is required, but no problem if used.
– No cover letter is needed.
– No formatting needed in terms of font, margin, page number, etc.
– No need for writing your name as this will be graded directly from your submission
(unlike essays in the past where they had to be saved on my computer and identity was
needed for each).
– Just save this document on your desktop and start answering the 2 questions.
– 50 points per question.
– Grading criteria:
1- answering the question right without diverging into something else
2- proper use of language and grammar
3- proper use of punctuation and topic sentences
4- cohesion and coherence in ideas and flow of them
5- demonstration of proofreading and taking care of little errors before submission
6- ability to use what we learned in class over the semester: rebuttal, ethos, pathos,
intro, conclusion, topic sentences, contention, etc. (I will not be expecting one of
each of those, but I would like to see that you have acquired the skill of using such
things at ease)
Question 1:
Where do you think the Corona Virus is taking us? What is your speculation of how the world
will look like by the end of 2020? Do you think there are things in our daily life that will no
longer exist, and some new things will be part of our daily life? Are there lessons that you can
argue we have learned from COVID 19? Argue about what you want to say.
Question 2: (Your opinion shall not affect your grade)
How has your experience been in College Writing help I? What are the defining moments for you in
this class, whether good or bad? If you were the instructor and were asked to teach it online,
what would you adapt from this course and what would you change, and why? How was your
experience with the structure of the course, the feedback, the essay topics, the resubmission
system, etc.? In general, what makes a class online worth taking and vice versa? (challenge:
answer the questions here with minimal use of personal pronouns. If you feel that there are
some impossible sentences, email me and I will show you how. I can argue that I can write
